In 24 hours, a spinning line with 24 winders produces 1.9 million kilometers of 20-denier nylon yarn from 3 kg packages – three times the distance from Earth to the Moon and back.
The principle of producing a continuous filament is always the same: spinning pumps press the plastic melt under extremely high pressure through micro-fine nozzles, the resulting filaments are bundled into threads, stretched over godets and wound up by a take-up unit. Particularly important here: gentle yarn treatment from top to bottom. This is the prerequisite for a uniform yarn - the core characteristic of a quality yarn.
