The Oerlikon Group is structured in two divisions: Surface Solutions (materials and surface solutions) and Polymer Processing Solutions (production technologies for synthetic fibers and polycondensation systems).
With their high-tech applications, both divisions are targeted at growth markets such as the automotive industry, aerospace, energy, the tooling industry, and additive manufacturing (3-D printing). Each division provides its technologies and services under well-established brand names, and pursues strategies based on the needs and requirements of the respective markets.

I joined Oerlikon in 2014 and started working for the Group strategy in HQ in Switzerland. In 2021 I relocated to Germany to start working as a strategist for Oerlikon digital business and initiatives. Since then, I have grown to the role of Senior Manager Digital Strategy. Although such changes are always challenging, it was so exciting that Oerlikon offers such career advancement opportunities, global horizon, and mobility for young talents.
