2014 Annual Conference of China Textile Round-Table Forum was held successfully in Beijing on February 23, 2014
Shanghai, 21th March 2014 – The Ninth Annual Conference of China Textile Round-Table Forum, co-sponsored by Oerlikon Manmade Fibers, was held on February 23, 2014 in Beijing Kunlun Hotel. Nine years has pasted since Oerlikon Manmade Fiber first sponsored this High-end Forum. China Textile Round-Table Forum is organized by CNTAC and hosted by China Textile Economy Research Center and News Center of CNTA.
The annual conference of this year, themed by “Comprehensively deepening Reforms and Developing the Textile Industry”, provided platform for participants to make in-depth discussion toward hot issues and corresponding countermeasures, which were listed as follows: influence of comprehensively deepening economic system reform of third plenary session of CPC on textile industry; 2014 macroe-conomic situation and policies; new-year economic situation and prospective on textile industry, especially the chemical fiber industry; prospective on textile industry in the period of 12th Five-year Plan and 13th Five-year Plan (2015-2020); major reform of textile industry as well as the issue of excess capacity.
Jia Kang, famous economist, member of the national committee of CPPCC and director of financial science institute of Ministry of Finance, Yao Jingyuan, famous economist and special researcher of Counsellor Office of State Council as well as Zhang Yansheng, researcher and secretary general of academic committee of National Development & Reform Commission were invited to make excellent speeches respectively on “Interpretation on new policies of comprehensive deepening reform of eco-nomic system of third plenary session of CPC”, “Macroeconomic situation and policies in 2014” and “Build new advantages of textile industry on international competitiveness & cooperation”.
Gao Yong, Vice president and secretary-general of CNTAC and Sun Ruizhe, Vice president of CNTAC later made speech on the topics of “Economic situation analysis and prospective on textile industry in 2013-2014” and “Prospective on textile industry in the period of 12th Five-year Plan and 13th Five-year Plan(2015-2020)” respectively. Stefan Kross, CEO of Oerlikon Manmade Fibers gave a speech on “Comprehensive process know-how as the decisive lead for eco-friendly innovations for the manmade fibers industry”. Last but not least, Wang Tiankai, President of CNTAC, made a wonderful conclusion to the forum.
This annual party was participated in by over 320 members, including personnel of related govern-ment departments, CNTAC and related industry associations as well as well-known domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and the media, 150 of whom were invited to the Oerlikon Evening gala dinner. Among all the participants,10 vital clients and 8 partner media were invited by Oerlikon Manmade Fibers. It is a complete success of the Ninth Annual Conference of China Textile Round-Table Forum.
