Back at the start of the new millennium, Oerlikon Manmade Fibers recognized that a reduction in energy consumption was becoming an increasingly important argument for textile manufacturers.

In the development of new components, machines and systems, particular attention was paid to optimizing efficient utilization of the energy consumed, therefore. Potential for reducing energy consumption in textile production can be found across the entire textile value-added chain, in virtually all parts of an installation. This potential has been and is being revealed and used systematically by our engineers in research and development.

Thanks to the logical application of the knowledge acquired, it is already possible to achieve energy savings of up to 50 % in relevant production processes using machines from Oerlikon Manmade Fibers.
